A supportive route into digital skills

The Cauldron Dev Centre CIC is a proposed Community Interest Company that supports autistic and neurodivergent adults to develop digital skills, confidence and workplace experience through a person-centred technology studio. Our milestone-based pathways provide practical opportunities to learn, contribute and prepare for further education, volunteering or sustainable employment within the digital sector.

Our Mission

The Cauldron Dev Centre CIC exists to empower autistic and neurodivergent adults by providing a supportive, professional technology studio where they can develop digital skills, build confidence and gain meaningful workplace experience. Through project-based learning, mentoring, AI-assisted productivity and real-world software development, we create accessible pathways into sustainable employment while delivering lasting social impact.

Every participant follows a person-centred pathway designed around individual strengths, interests and aspirations. Progress is measured through the achievement of five developmental stages rather than fixed timescales, allowing each person to advance at a pace that reflects their growing confidence, skills and readiness for greater responsibility within the studio.

Participant Pathways

Participants can explore a range of technology pathways based on their strengths, interests and long-term aspirations. Every pathway combines practical experience, structured mentoring and real-world projects within a supportive studio environment, enabling participants to develop both technical and professional skills.

Proposed pathways include Software Development, where participants learn modern programming and software engineering practices; Game Development, focusing on game design, programming and interactive experiences; and Digital Art, developing skills in digital illustration, concept art, asset creation and visual design for games and digital media. Additional pathways may be introduced in response to participant interests and emerging opportunities within the digital sector.
